Rocky Mountain Maples

Rocky Mountain Maples has been renamed to Briggs Maples. This is (or was) one of the few remaining places where maple sap is collected the old-fashioned way, in metal buckets. Unfortunately, this particular sugar camp (also known as a sugar bush) will eventually disappear, as a rock quarry will be mining this area. Click on the Google Maps link (below) to see how the quarry already surrounds the sugar camp on three sides.
